Dr. Vaibhav Sethi works at Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital as a Vitreo-Retinal surgeon and Uveitis specialist. He has graduated from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tamil Nadu and done his long term fellowship in Vitreo Retina from the prestigious L.V.Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. He is a fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology, London, UK.

He is the Indian representative to the prestigious European Vitreo Retinal Society (EVRS)

He has to his accolade several hundreds of ophthalmic surgeries including Micro Incision Vitreous surgeries, Retinal Detachment surgeries, Scleral fixated IOLs, Macular surgeries, Scleral buckling procedures and many others.

He has been invited as faculty & instructor to various National & International meetings such as European Vitreo Retinal Society, Bridge Retina Congress, American Academy of Ophthalmology, World Retina Congress, Egyptian Vitreo Retinal Society, Polish Ophthalmic society, All India Ophthalmic Society and many more.

He has an honorary diploma from the prestigious Fyodorov Microsurgical Eye Institute, Moscow, Russia.

His key areas of interests are teaching and surgical skill transfer. He was the instructor for pars plana vitrectomy wetlab course using Bioniko eye models at the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology in 2023.

He has presented at various National and International conferences and has many awards to his credit.

He organizes the Panophthalmologica global webinar, every year, on World Sight day. In 2024 it attracted over 3,000 participants from 43 countries, including 2,000 Vitreo-Retinal surgeons worldwide, with the aim of education and learning from each other.
