Project Description
Dr Riemann has a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
He completed ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal fellowship at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
He is currently a volunteer professor at the University of Cincinnati, directs the vitreoretinal fellowship at the Cincinnati Eye Institute and University of Cincinnati, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Cincinnati Eye Institute — the largest ophthalmology practice in the USA.
His research interests include vitrectomy fluidics, 27 gauge vitrectomy, digital microscopy for the operating room and novel surgical techniques.
