We are more than happy to announce you that the 10th Thessaloniki Vitreoretinal Summer School live and hands on training is back in 2021 August 30 to September 04 in Thessaloniki, Greece
The most difficult task we had these years is to stay safe. Now vaccinated, we are trying to start again.
Vitreoretinal training in 3d, treating cataract complications, fixing scleral lenses and so many other surgical manoeuvres hands on.
Virtual reality is not a substitute and we are looking forward to continuing a tenth year of TVRS hands on training.
Our website, tvrs.gr is again open for registration (in first-come-first-served order) for a limited number of participants since we have a fixed amount of surgical oct-ngenuity-true to life surgery cataract complications treatment and vitrectomy latest evolution machines. This way we can really hope to succeed in knowledge transfer from a great faculty international team.
Looking forward to see life action again!

We have the honour to invite you to the 11th THESSALONIKI VITREORETINAL SUMMER SCHOOL (TVRS), which this year, is going to be held in 4th – 8th of July, 2022 in Thessaloniki.
The 5-day summer school, consists of Round Tables and Lectures, given by International Masters in Retina Surgery and Medical Retina, as well as Dry and Wet Labs, Case presentations, Live surgery Connections and 3D videos.
Our aim is to bring together healthcare professionals and study how to improve our practices. Our ambition is to inspire colleagues who wish to start a program and need support and further hands on training.
By using the unique Bionico Artificial Eyes from Miami for ILM Removal Techniques and Retinal surgery in 3D NGENUITY system and latest models Microscopes using almost all Vitrectomy systems, will be this year’s innovation in true to life surgery.
Special for this year presentation of the latest Ultrasonic(vitesse) Vitrectomy wet lab, presented by world experts.
Also the yearly repeated success course of treating cataract complication By the cataract Surgeon using Vitrectomy.
Moreover there will be at least 15 hours wet-labs for each participant.
